Associate Professor at the University of Ghana School of Law, Professor Kwadwo Appiagyei-Atua, has stated that the indication by the Office of the Attorney-General (A-G), that Godfred Yeboah Dame, will not resign is not unexpected.
The Attorney-General's Department says Godfred Yeboah Dame said nothing wrong in the alleged tape containing the conversation between the Attorney-General and the Richard Jakpa, the third accused in the ongoing ambulance procurement trial.
The press conference follows claims by Richard Jakpa, the third accused, that the Attorney General had previously approached him to help build a case against the former Deputy Finance Minister.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has released what it claims is an audio recording of a conversation between Attorney General, Godfred Dame and the third accused person in the controversial ambulance case.
