Queen’s University is defending its faculty, staff and community partners after an anonymous report surfaced online this week alleging six of its instructors, professors and associates had falsely claimed Indigenous identity.

The feds announced today that they will be investing $750,000 into the hub’s construction. Federal Infrastructure Minister Catherine McKenna says that residents need better public spaces, especially libraries, where people want to live, work and raise a family. On hand at the Announcement was MPP Daryl Kramp, whose government is adding $625,000 to what both governments call a vital project. He says he knows how important this is for the community, saying that Bancroft needs this as a hub for the area.
