there s not much incentive for doctors to talk to you on the phone. so one of the big hurdles we ve had is payment. i m just reading here about 200,000 patients nationwide receive some sort of treatment v via mobile monitoring units in their home. that could be getting some form of monitoring in the home. the veterans administration, for example, uses remote monitoring in about 50,000 veterans homes. it s being it s increasingly used all over the country for that, particularly with people with chronic conditions. as you know, ali, people with chronic conditions are the ones who not only have the greatest need but also are among the greatest sources of cost. yep. for health care. okay. so there are a couple of things here. first of all, a lot of countries are further advanced than the united states is in telemedicine. i had a conversation i talk very often about our being less than competitive in terms of broadband capabilities. is that why? or is there something else? w
