The Nasarawa State Police Command has signed a peace agreement with the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state ahead of the judgment of the Supreme Court judgment on the 2023 governorship election in the state. During the signing of the peace agreement in Lafia, the state capital on Monday, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Umar Nadada, vowed to deal decisively with anyone who gets involved in any form of trouble before, during and after the apex court judgment.
