Triumph has taken the wraps off the all-new Speed Triple 1200 RS. It is the latest-generation model of the company's flagship naked roadster. However, the new model is radically different from the predecessor in almost every sense, including the powerplant. According to the British motorcycle maker, the Speed Triple RS 1200 is the most powerful and the fastest Speed Triple the company has ever made. It features an all-new mass centralised chassis and an aggressive design language that is reminiscent of the latest Street Triple RS. Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS' India launch will take place on 28 January, 2021.

Triumph Motorcycles has a lot of vehicles lined up for this year, including the all-new Trident 660 and Tiger 850 Sport. Adding to this list is now Speed Triple 1200 RS, which will make its global debut this month on 26 January. It will be the flagship naked street fighter in the company's portfolio and will replace Speed Triple 1050 RS as the latter will not be upgraded to meet Euro 5 (or BS6) emission norms. Ahead of the global unveiling, Triumph recently teased the Speed Triple 1200 RS but the teaser reveals only a handful of details about the bike. The Speed Triple 1200 RS will be making its way to our shores, probably this year, and will rival Ducati Streetfighter V4 which too will be launched here this year. Other than this, the new Speed Triple will also face competition from Kawasaki Z H2 .
