The Plateau State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Jos on Friday dismissed the petition filed by Dr Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda of the All Progressives Congress. Goshwe had challenged the election of Caleb Mutfwang of the Peoples Democratic Party as the governor of the state, alleging that Mutfwang was not qualified to contest at the time of the election. According to his petition, Mutfwang was not validly nominated by the PDP at the time because the party had no structure.
