One person is dead, and another is behind bars after a fatal crash in South Sacramento.
Late Saturday night, CHP says 23 year old Alonso Gonzalez Moreno was out picking up food after admittedly having a drink or two. His decision to speed through a red light on southbound Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard at speeds of 80 to 90 MPH proved to be a fatal one, as a motorcyclist was passing through the intersection. Gonzalez Moreno was not injured in the accident, but the person driving a BMW S-1000 motorcycle was declared dead on scene by the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District. Now, Gonzalez Moreno is under arrest in the Sac County Main Jail under suspicion of DUI.
