One night for all — as city marks culture night

Galway City Culture Night takes place on Friday 23 September. Galway City will host over 50 events with 200 artists participating in a diverse programme of visual arts, music, film and storytelling.

Compared to the past two years, this years Galway Film Fleadh feels positively idyllic and director of programming Will Fitzgerald makes no bones about it. He was gushing with enthusiasm when we spoke this week.

FRIDAY SEES the return of Galway’s international visual arts festival, TULCA, with exhibitions in the An Post Gallery, Galway Arts Centre, Columban Hall, 126 Gallery, Nun’s Island Theatre, and Pálás Cinema.

Misleór, which starts on Friday the 22nd of October, is a truly special event, and the only festival in Ireland that celebrates and connects nomadic cultures from around the world.
