Hjelle, a company driver for Altendorf Trucking, was presented with the 2022 Driver of the Year award on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at the annual NDMCA convention in Bismarck.
Richard Edward John Canfield was born on July 21, 1975, in Glasgow Montana. Rick worked various jobs throughout his life. His longest tenure was with Strata Concrete, but his favorite work was as a dispatcher with Altendorf Trucking, and S&S Transport. Richard passed away on April 9th, 2022, at the age of 46, in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks.
