Food blogger Amar Sirohi has shared a picture of green-coloured jalebis, which he refers to as "Mountain Dew Jalebi" on social media. However, Sirohi explains the jalebis are not green due to food colouring or the soft drink s addition, but because of a unique ingredient. Made of hyacinth beans or Avarebele in Karnataka, the jalebis have a distinct taste and are popular in Bangalore. Despite being shared in June, the post has recently gained attention and has left food lovers excited to try the novel variation.
