Mocksville, N.C. Reagan captured its first outright volleyball conference championship since 2017 on Thursday evening by defeating Davie County in three sets.
The Raiders, who are ranked 23rd in the latest HighSchoolOT Top 25 West volleyball poll, sealed the Central Piedmont 4A Conference title after their 25-21, 25-23, and 34-32 road victory.
Reagan and Davie County struggled to find any separation from each another towards the start of the first set. The War Eagles finally pulled away to lead 14-9 before the match’s first timeout was used by the unbeaten visitors.
