Republican in the senate and hes a sponsor of that fix nics bill. he said they want to get a vote on it this week and they were trying to get some sort of agreement on amendments. the problem is there are a number of conservatives including senator mike lee of utah who are standing in the way of a speedy vote on that. they would have to wait a considerable amount of time before they could do it. its not entirely clear theyll be able to get an amendment agreement. that sounds kind of complicated....
