right. reporter: the incident reminiscent of another case of carbon monoxide poisoning at an indoor hotel pool in michigan nearly five years ago. a 13-year-old boy was killed. six other children hurt. the cause there, a broken pool heater. we are concerned about carbon monoxide because it is the silent killer. it has no odor. it has no taste. it has no irritant properties. reporter: linsey, the city s fire chief says thankfully, no one died as a result of this. so far, at least four patients have been released. the hotel states they re cooperating with authorities. elwyn, thank you. we turn to the standoff between the kremlin and the west over ukraine. today, america s u.n. ambassador tells abc news a diplomatic solution is still possible. the security council is meeting tomorrow to consider the russian threat. while ukrainian officials are urging calm, ukrainian citizens
