Happening now, crews working to repair two water main breaks that popped up overnight in San Francisco. They are miles apart. They do not seem connected. This is on Mission Street near college avenue. They are working to repair one of two mains that ruptured overnight. Heres what it looked like when it broke. This is a 4inch pipe from the 1930s. They have shut off the water but one side of this block. Now take a look at the other water main break. They are not related. Crews are working at santos and velasco and they have shut the water off there for a couple of blocks while they work on an 8inch break. That pipe is from the 40s. We have an increase in the high clouds today. We are semiprotected in the High Pressure is trying to build in. We have 50s on the temperatures and 50s for everybody. That will be moving in tonight and definitely tomorrow night and sunday night. So future tracker showing tomorrow afternoon instead of temperatures in the 60s were looking at afternoon highs only in the mid 50s. It will be breezy, so feeling even cooler than that and then the core of the cold air moves in on sunday. Sunday our high struggling to hit 51 degrees, also lots of clouds but youll really feel that cold air as night. This air mass is coming straight from canada. Well see clouds during the day but once the sun sets, those instability clouds will clear out. So, that will lead the way for good radiational cooling. The coldest night will be sunday night. This is when temperatures in some of the northwest suburbs and the pine barrens will actually drop down into the 20s, so a killing frost is likely over about 95 percent of our region.
