Poriborton Kori Foundation brings together artistes in support of Palestine Arts & Entertainment Desk Arts & Entertainment Desk Poriborton Kori Foundation collaborated with prominent Bangladeshi artistes to raise awareness of the ongoing situation in Palestine. Through a video, they plea to all Bangladeshis to stand by Palestinians and donate to the State of Palestine Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. They have met with the Palestinian Ambassador, His Excellency Yousef S.Y Ramadan, and learned in detail how the aid will be used and distributed. The embassy plans to distribute the aid by acquiring medical equipment and supplies to local hospitals in Gaza, Palestine.

Mizanur Rahman Aryan s Networker Baire to stream on Chorki Photo: Courtesy Arts & Entertainment Desk Arts & Entertainment Desk Renowned director Mizanur Rahman Aryan s latest project, Networker Baire , will stream on OTT platform Chorki from June 3 onwards. The original film includes a star-studded cast of Shariful Raz, Yash Rohan, Orsha, Tasnuva Tisha, Khairul Bashar, Jonaed Bagdadi, Farin and Nazifa Tushi, among others. Chorki recently created a buzz on social media by announcing many star-studded project, the latest of which is Networker Baire. This will be a tale of friendship and love , says Aryan, who faced quite the challenge for the outdoor shooting of the project. He said that this is arguably the biggest project that he has undertaken, and is quite excited for it.

Illustration: Oishik Jawad Directors Guild Bangladesh is allowing shoots from 6 am to 6 pm during this lockdown. Around 5,000 individuals work behind the camera during a shoot. Stopping shoots would mean putting them out of work, says noted actor and director Salauddin Lavlu, President of the guild. Last time, we all had to work together to ensure that these workers are financially supported, but all of us were quite inactive in the past year. As a result, we are struggling to meet even our own needs.
