Narendra Modi [FILE PICTURE]  Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday visit West Bengal to commemorate the 125 th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose as part of the ‘Parakram Divas’ celebrations across the country.  The Prime Minister will preside over the inaugural function at Victoria Memorial in Kolkata before attending a cultural programme called ‘ Amra Nuton Jouboneri Doot’, based on the same theme.  The state police force has converted the city into a fortress ahead of the PM’s visit, and as per police sources, around 2,000 police personnel have been deployed across Kolkata to monitor the security machinery closely.

He had people of all communities in the Azad Hind Fauj. Whether you say Jai Hind or Jai Sri Ram , I don t find difference. Jai Sri Ram isn t a statement where one should react in allergic manner. On Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee s refusal to speak at the event following sloganeering, he said, I think the CM need not have reacted adversely to a slogan whether it s Jai Hind or Jai Shri Ram .
