The walking stick has very distinct Native American carvings on it and it s a family heirloom. Robert Van Fleet said he stopped to get gas at the QuikTrip near 71st and Riverside Monday afternoon when he was on his way to Tulsa Hills. He said he leaned the walking staff against his car while filling up, and when he got back in his car, he noticed it was gone. It’s a part of me,” said Van Fleet. “It s like losing a limb.

2 Teens Injured In Shootout Along I-244

By: Amy Kauffman, News On 6 TULSA, Oklahoma - Two teenagers were shot during a rolling gun battle on a Tulsa interstate Monday afternoon, according to Tulsa police. Police said the gun battle started on I-244 near 35th West Avenue around 2 p.m. They said four teenagers bailed out of a car along I-244 and ran across the street to the OSU Physicians clinic near 23rd Street. Officials said two of the four teens were shot. Officers said multiple people called 911 saying they saw two cars shooting at each other on the interstate. They said the gold car is the vehicle the teenagers were driving. Officers said that car was reported stolen Monday morning and has multiple bullet holes.
