A MAN allegedly waited until his wife went into hospital to give birth so he could rape and murder his stepdaughter, it was reported.
The 34-year-old, who has not been named, has been arrested in connection with the murder of six-year-old Ana Paula Soares Marx but reportedly hid past convictions for murdering and raping his own mother.

Ana s body was found floating in the Preto River in Brazil on the morning of 16th May, three days after she went missing.
Her stepfather, who was already under suspicion over her disappearance, was arrested shortly after her body was found with signs of violence, O Globo reports.
