ST. PAUL Minnesota Wild General Manager Bill Guerin today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has signed forward Marcus Foligno to a three-year, $9.3 million contract ($3.1 million AAV) extension through the 2023-24 season.
Foligno 29, tallied 25 points (11-14=25), a plus-8 rating, 30 penalty minutes (PIM) and 184 hits in 59 games with Minnesota in 2019-20, setting career highs in points and plus/minus rating. The 6-foot-3, 224-pound native of Buffalo, N.Y., led the team in hits (T-18th in the NHL) and ranked third in plus/minus rating.
