The Nvidia RTX 4080 Super wraps up the mid-cycle refresh with small bumps in core counts and clock speeds — including faster VRAM. It all adds up to a very small increase in performance compared to the 4080, with a $200 price cut being the main draw.

The PNY RTX 4070 Ti Super Verto Epic-X RGB OC applies a proven formula: big heatsinks and triple fans with a modest overclock results in slightly higher performance, good thermals, and costs $50 more than the base models.

We tested Sapphires AMD RX 7600 XT Pulse graphics card, which doubles the memory and boosts the clocks and power limits compared to the vanilla 7600, but still utilizes the same Navi 33 GPU. Performance has improved, but there are better alternatives at this price.

Weve tested the Asus RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming, a reference model card with stock clocks, to see how the new Nvidia GPU with 33% more memory and bandwidth fares. The change to the AD103 GPU with additional shader cores results in the expected uplift, but the memory upgrades dont seem to matter as much in most games.

The RTX 4070 Super delivers exactly what youd expect from a mid-cycle update: more performance and better bang for the buck. It lands between the 4070 and 4070 Ti, closer to the latter but taking over the $599 price of the former.
