The FBI's new report suggests that there were warning signs long before the killer carried out his attack.

The Cincinnati Field Office and the Dayton Police Department released an investigative report regarding the August 4, 2019 attack in Dayton, Ohio.

The shooter who carried out the 2019 shooting in Dayton, OH had an "enduring fascination with mass violence."

Investigators say Connor Betts fantasized about mass shootings, serial killings and murder-suicide for years, but was not directed by an organization or aligned with any specific ideological group.

The attackers friends and peers did not know about his violent fantasies, leading the report to conclude "bystander fatigue" contributed to the shooting.
