Mock Draft - 7 Players rated in top-5 at their Position By Riding Herd on Apr 19, 2021, 2:08pm CDT + Draft Mode: Realistic Trade Mode: Strict Draft Order: Pre-Draft For this draft, I decided to trade back into the early 20s and select the best defensive player available. From there, my strategy was to trade back to accumulate picks and then trade up when necessary to get my desired players. As it turned out, I ended up with picks far too high for the ratings on the g...

Set: Quarterback, running back, cornerback As the title suggests, the focus of this article is on needs.  We’ll discuss some depth moves as well but the Bengals have both Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon under contract until 2025 so they’re relatively “set” with starters.  They may have released Gio Bernard but Trayveon Williams actually graded out surprisingly well in pass blocking (which was Gio’s specialty) and they have him and Samaje Perine under cheap deals until 2023 so I don’t s...

EAGLES NFL DRAFT PREVIEW: Safeties The Eagles could look to add to free-agent pickups Anthony Harris and Andrew Adams at safety Author: Apr 18, 2021 PHILADELPHIA - In a year where the Eagles took on more dead money for any single player in NFL history by trading Carson Wentz, it was impossible to be a real player in free agency. Philadelphia did make a relative splash, however, when it waited out a depressed market and got former NFL interception leader Anthony Harris on a cost-effective one-ye...

The Cost of Slater - PFN Mock on Tax Day By Purple_Pain on Apr 15, 2021, 1:25pm CDT + We can expect surprises in the NFL draft. It would be fortuitous for the Vikings if any of the elite 12 dropped to #14. Those include 5 QBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 CB, 1 OL, and 1 LB. Slater is projected at #13 going to the Chargers, but sometimes strange things happen because GMs decide they have better insight than the consensus. In those instances, Parsons, Slater, Smith/Waddle, or another drop to be...

From there, my strategy was to trade back to accumulate picks and then trade up when necessary to get my desired players. I believe I have 7 future starters here. Here are my selections: UAB To setup this draft,...

Originally posted on RealGM  |  By Jeff Risdon  |  Last updated 4/15/21 Two weeks out from the NFL draft means it’s time to unveil the big board. Here are the top 103 players I evaluated for the 2021 NFL Draft.   Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson. Consensus No. 1 overall pick for good reason. He’s got All-Pro potential, perhaps early in his career. He’s not perfect but few QBs have ever entered the NFL with more positive traits. His floor is being Andrew ...
