Just like the animal and the protagonist, American Badger the film is lean and mean. A hit man who doesn’t question anything, the only decisions he makes are how to complete the operation as efficiently as possible, generally with a lot of blood.
Dean (Kirk Caouette) is a hit man directed to protect a call girl Velvet (Andrea Stefancikova) whom he almost inevitably falls for, and almost inevitably is give an order that he has to question.
That is basically it as the viewer is taken through the brooding life of Dean. He was married, clearly no longer, he now spends his time alone, in study, in his flat, when he’s not killing, or drinking.
