You can now install Android apps on Windows 11, but only if you can jump through all the hoops that Microsoft sets. Not only is app support restricted to the US, but also the Windows Insider Preview Programmes Beta Channel. Other limitations apply too that are even harsher than Windows 11s punitive system requirements.

Microsoft has announced the first preview of Android apps on Windows 11. Testers with Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm processors will all be able to try out Android apps on Windows 11.

Windows 11 beta testers can now download and install Android apps on their PCs through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft has added Android apps support by working with chipmakers AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm as well as Amazon.

We went hands-on with Android apps in Windows 11 in the Amazon App Store and showed you how you can do it yourself.
