AVON LAKE, OH A car was stolen from outside an Avon Lake home this month, according to police records.
On April 13, an SUV was parked in an Angela Lane driveway. Someone stole the vehicle overnight, police said. The vehicle was later found at an impound lot in Cleveland.
Police said they have closed the investigation into the theft. No suspects were identified. However, there have been other car-based crimes in Avon Lake since then.

Then, April 19, a Lear Road resident reported that someone damaged their garage door.
