A North Korean Foreign Ministry official told nhk exclusively that the visits by relatives could end this year. The official said the planned construction of housing and other projects in the area could halt the program. The official revealed north korean leaders want the japanese government to agree to hold talks on what to do quit the remains. Human Rights Groups criticised the sentences given to 14 young egyptian women for protesting against the government. The women were sentenced to more than 11 years in prison on wednesday. Seven others were arrested and held in a juvenile detention facility because they are under the age of 16.
