Alarmed by the worrisome spate of killings in Nigeria, a foremost housing development advocacy group, Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN), has warned that the economy of the country soon be grounded if nothing is urgently done to tackle the menace.
Executive Director of the group, Festus Adebayo, a banker and a lawyer said in an interview in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city on Tuesday that ‘’all is not well with our country’s economy. At the moment, investors are shunning our real estate sector because of the level of insecurity.’’
According to the housing development advocate and Convener of Abuja International Housing Show, the biggest housing and construction event in Africa, ‘’Twitter took its regional headquarters to Ghana, ignoring Nigeria with the largest Twitter community in Africa because of insecurity.
