Shops in Haryana to remain closed after 6 pm from tomorrow
The Haryana government has instructed has instructed all shops to be closed from 6 pm on Friday. State Health Minister Anil Vij on Thursday said that all non-essential gatherings are banned, for any kind of function, the person has to take permission from the concerned sub divisional magistrate. All shops will remain closed from 6 pm onward in Haryana from tomorrow, all non-essential gatherings are banned, anybody holding any function within prescribed limit will have to seek permission from concerned SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate), Vij said in a tweet.
The state government had recently capped the number of attendees in indoor events to 50 and that for open spaces to 200.

After deleting a controversial tweet by Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Monday related to 21-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi, Twitter later restored it, saying the tweet is not subject to removal under its rules regarding online hate speech. Vij on Monday said whoever harbours the seed of anti-nationalism has to be dealt with accordingly, be it Ravi or anyone else.
In a tweet in Hindi, Vij said: Whoever harbours the seed of anti-nationalism in their minds, that has to be completely destroyed, be it Disha Ravi or anyone else.
Twitter removed the tweet based on a complaint from a user in Germany.

On Monday morning Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij tweeted that all those with seeds of anti nationalist thought. should be destroyed , and referred specifically to 22-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi, whom Delhi Police has accused of sedition and conspiracy - on the back of her editing an online document connected to the farmers protest against the centre s agriculture laws.
Mr Vij s controversial tweet was widely condemned and briefly deleted by Twitter after a complaint from Germany, before the social media giant - which faces questions in this country over handling of extreme speech - said it had been investigated and was not subject to removal .
Twitter sends notice to Haryana Minister Anil Vij about tweet on Disha Ravi
However, Twitter said, it investigated the reported content and found that it is not subject to removal under the Twitter rules or German law, and accordingly it didn t take any action on it.

Haryana Minister Anil Vij has received a notice from micro-blogging site Twitter about a tweet by him on Disha Ravi, which was reported by a German user, but no action has been taken by the company.
