Amid the heat waves, Nandankanan authorities have taken special care of animals and placed air coolers, ice slabs and proper arrangements for water sprinkling on the roofs regularly.

Employees at the Rockhampton Wildlife sanctuary have indeed been striving tirelessly to keep the animals cool, from frozen goodies for chimps to sprinkler systems and sprays for creatures and air-conditioned caves for marsupials.
