LAOAG CITY- The Ilocos Norte government, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), is urgently in need of 55 nurses to be deployed in its public hospitals. For interested applicants, Ann Marie Lizette B. Atuan, provincial manager of PESO, announced Monday that the program is under the Ilocos Norte government's "Sagip Nars Program." It aims to sustain the steady employment of registered nurses and at the same time help the government contain the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic. Atuan said the filing of application started on Monday and will end on Tuesday, May 17. "An applicant must be a board passer and not employed in any hospital setting," Atuan said in an interview Monday.
