Mark Stone had his first regular-season hat trick and Logan Thompson made 34 saves to lead the Vegas Golden Knights to a 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators on Monday. Stone's other hat trick was in the clinching Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final in which the Knights beat the Florida Panthers 9-3. Stone, though, said it was important he didn't try to do too much.

Jaycee Horn, the team’s top corner and first draft pick of the Scott Fitterer era, thinks the Panthers have “the guys in the locker room” to make a playoff run one day.

Alex Killorn got his second goal of the game 48 seconds into overtime, and the Anaheim Ducks fought back from a pair of two-goal deficits to beat the Florida Panthers 5-4 on Monday. Adam Henrique had a goal and an assist for the Ducks, who trailed 2-0 and 4-2 before handing Florida its second consecutive loss. Troy Terry and Jakob Silfverberg also scored for Anaheim, which got 29 saves from John Gibson.

The Panthers are in the middle of vast searches for both of their major vacancies at head coach and general manager. This week should see a pick up in action.

Bobrovsky was previously an All-Star in both 2015 and 2017 while playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Reinhart’s game-winning goal was his 30th of the season.

Sam Reinhart scored on a backhander with less than a second to play in overtime, Matthew Tkachuk scored late in regulation to tie the contest and the Florida Panthers rallied past the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 on Thursday night to push their winning streak to nine games. Sam Bennett also scored for Florida, which trailed 1-0 and 2-1 before pulling out the win. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 31 shots for the Panthers, plus got one of the two assists on Reinhart's winner.

This is the second time in franchise history the Panthers will play an NFL game overseas.
