covid-19 patient. his life with saved, he was on deaths door. his doctor said there's nothing else he could do. he said goodbye to his family. then he was treated with an anti- malaria drug and it was a truly miraculous recovery. are we close to a treatment tha may potentially save thousands and thousands of lives? we will investigate tonight and a report on how just repulse of the mob and the media, how they really are. tonight we start with the democratic party and they are despicable behavior over the weekend, lawmakers on both side of the aisle hammered out trillion dollar emergency spending bill. that proposed billions of dollars to four workers, small businesses, for struggling big industries like the airline industry, billions for hospital and cash payments to americans that need it, that are making under $99,000 a year. our fellow americans are hurting . we rebuilt europe, we save the world from evil into your any time and time again. now it's time to help out our american family. what happens unexpectedly, this morning, they've torpedoed the bill, they are now saying they will not pass anything that doe not include in insane laundry list of unrelated items. nothing to do with corona. i predicted this would happen. why are they delaying critical aid and financial assistance to american workers come out small businesses, large businesses, that if had to shut down? this is what they want. they want tax credits for windmills and solar power. they want their green new deal one way or the other so they're willing to deny desperate americans in need for this. they also want new admission mandates for the airline industry. mandatory reporting of greenhouse grat gas statistics for early every airline flight. in other words, let's just kick you all in the teeth that work in the airline industry when you're down. americans need to put food on the table, pay their rent, thei mortgages, the car payments tel their kids that they're not going have to pull them out of college. where are their priorities tonight as the nation waits lik with the virus, what are the democrats doing. what were they doing when the president implemented that crucial critical travel ban. that's right, they were impeaching the president, and forget cold joe. he called the president zina phobic, and of your mongrel. how as part of a new fantasy, they are trying to put airline companies out of business, they are going to let americans live in a state of anxiety and worry and fear because they're not doing their jobs. this is what government is supposed to do. serve the people. democrats are also demanding broad new powers for labor unions. the forgiveness of student loan debt, new rules surrounding racial diversity on corporate boards, subsidies for newspaper and so much more. what does this have to do with people that need help now? the democratically majority whi called it a tremendous opportunity to restructure things, to fit our vision. small businesses suffering entire industries, like the restaurant industry, our struggling. their workers are losing their jobs. they are afraid they may lose there homes or get kicked out o their apartments. what is their agenda? he's worried about restructurin things to fit their rattle it radical socialist vision. that is the radical extreme socialist party and that is the being a national disgrace again because they've done nothing fo three years anyway. they should be ashamed of this conduct, but emma kratz, for those of you that have some sense, reason, compassion, understanding, are you embarrassed about what this party has become? what has your party done in the last three years to help safety and security, peace and prosperity? hay, trim, that's all they've done. even time during great urgency, when our fellow americans need their government to act, they care more about the radical agenda than helping american workers, small business, big business. as mitch mcconnell said, democrats won't let us fun hospitals or is save small hospitals unless they get to dust off the green new deal and put a carbon footprint language into this. take a look. >> democrats won't let us fun hospitals were save small businesses unless they get to dust off the green new deal. are you kidding me? this is the moment to debate ne regulations that have nothing whatsoever to do with this crisis? that's what they're up to over there. the american people need to kno what. how can have the senate not ris to the occasion? at a time when everybody else i the country is pulling together. they are pulling us apart. >> good for mitch mcconnell, i can't recall him being that angry, and rightfully so. when americans need help the most, their is a radical socialist, they are caring abou carbon footprints in their own political agenda. now they're taking a page out o the playbook of rahm emanuel. how about the people in chicago getting shot you're after year after year. he said you never let a serious crisis go to waste, and opportunity to do things you could not do before. gas what, he is on state run conspiracy television msnbc whe he gave democrats the exact sam advice. gig is somebody once also said when i worked for president obama, never allow a crisis to go to waste. this will not be our last epidemic. but what we have to ensure, and this is what presidential leadership comes, that this wil not be the last pandemic, but i must be the last economic depression because of a pandemic . and then start setting out how to use this crisis to invest in public health. >> tonight every american has a right to be angry and ticked off . democrats cannot put aside ther petty politics to actually help our fellow americans in need. this is beyond a betrayal. to every american worker, their are people that really make the country great, those that are struggling now, and even some democratic members of congress, may be a few sensible ones reportedly growing weary of these political games. but not doctor joe. joe biden trying to use the coronavirus to score cheap political points. he said fundraising off the virus. president trump announced the travel ban on january 302,001 st 10 days after the first confirmed case in the united states, what did biden say? the presidents travel ban quarantine was zina phobic, and now biden is giving the single most was our series of weird, online speeches about how he would be handling the pandemic so much better than donald trump . the only problem is everything he mentioned trump did a long time ago and the things you mentioned wouldn't of done a difference. the first speech he forgot. that speech where his work i forgot i'm doing this. and they had to cover the screenplay today he lost his train of thoughts. what a shocker. does he even know what day it is ? by the way, it's not super thursday. struggling with a teleprompter. >> in addition to that, in addition to that, we have to make sure that we are in a position that we are--let me go to the second thing. we need to build an arsenal of democracy as we did in 1940. we make a personal productive equipment. here is the deal, we have to do what we did in the 40s and the 20 in 2020. >> oh, sorry come up more on hi confusion and bitterly partisan result to the pandemic. he's been disgraceful. what do you say on this program. let not your heart be troubled, we have some amazing prospects on the horizon. news to share. while the democrats play political games to score cheap political points and an extreme agenda. the trump administration and private are stepping up to the plate. you are now watching history. president trump is now rewritin every rule on how not only this country, but the world will dea with future pandemics. things we've never done before. travel bands, i wonder if that will be implemented faster next time knowing what we know now. drive-up testing, private publi partnerships. telemedicine is coming online. how many emergency room visits could be stopped if people at 2:00 a.m. can call a doctor on their face time and say my son or daughter has the croup, and making really weird noises like a seal, and then what do i do? first put some steam in the shower, if that doesn't work, call me back in an hour. may be a third, maybe more emergency room visits would end. compassionate care, the right t try testing new treatments of public private partnerships, even every one of these things is innovative. president trump on every area setting a new president and rewriting the books as we watch as we speak. how many americans would have contracted this virus but for the travel ban and the quarantine. that one decision ten days afte the first known case in this country. that was january 302,001st. how many more may have died moving forward with these new rules, the new book he is writing, in front of us, how many lives will potentially be saved in the future? americas private businesses are also to their great credit, you know, you listen to the liberals , they often trash walmart, i always say i love walmart, i love target, i love them all. look at these. all of these companies, and eve the companies i'm not that fond of. all of them deserve credit tonight, donating space, money, energy, and assistance in any way they can hoping to get the products to those in need. look at gm, look at ford. they're saying we can make ventilators, do you need them? some of america's top hospitals are manufacturing their own protective gear, that's why i said at one point, we will ultimately probably save the world again. how many times has america come to the rescue? medical research, doctors, sciences, and medical professionals in the entire world. we keep the world free, we bail out and rebuild europe. tesla, gm, ford, america's top pharmaceutical companies, those evil drug companies donating medicine and working around-the-clock to help develo a vaccine. never before have we been able to break down the sequence of a virus used to take years, we di in five or six weeks. we know how first trial potential hopefully vaccines in the process. several big businesses are hiring. massive amounts of people. thousands of new job postings a amazon and 7-eleven, and walmart . walmart said they're hiring 150,000 people. maybe need a bridge job until you get your job back. i put the list fully up on hannity.com. other are offering bonuses to their employees. many big-box stores are offerin to pay raises and double overtime. this is what we as americans do. this is who we are. we come together, we help one another in a time of need. nobody saw this coming. we all work hard, we all find solutions, we are innovative, w are creative. where the united states of america, the greatest country god gave man. yes, one nation, was separated by a thing. the thing, god that creates everything. u.s. doctors and scientist, thi is the big news tonight, are seen success with new treatments , experimental treatments. on my radio program called one of those doctors detailed his very important progress in here is what he said. >> you have had 100 percent success rate. >> i defined success as not having to go to the hospital since hospitals are overwhelmed right now. i have treated aggressively these patients and i've seen remarkable results within the shortness of breath issue resolved with and for desh six hours. >> this doctor published that h and his team have now treated patients with that regiment, none of them died, none of them were hospitalized, he now has 350 cased test cases that he's referring to. similar methods are now being tested all over the world for example researchers in france have released a preliminary study showing how a combination of hydroxy and antibiotics can be used to mitigate symptoms of those impacted with the virus and healed them quicker. one more good piece of information, we learn today at the president's press conferenc that young people thankfully ar not dying of coronavirus. of five biophysicist from stanford mad modeled the outbreak and is predicting fairly quick and to this pandemic and he predicted accurately everything that was going to happen in china. as of march 18th there have been zero fatalities from children only one death of one teenager worldwide. you get nervous based on the ne numbers first we were told up until about a week ago it wasn' impacting kids then we hear it is, that makes it more scary. good news tonight. this is a serious disease, back on generate 27th you got to take it seriously we're going t get strategic, we're going to find solutions, you can't panic. more good news coming up in mor facts without fear. joining us with the latest from capitol hill is chad, chad, i thought they had to deal, i thought they might work togethe and they might put aside petty partisan differences and help american workers, small businesses, and these big companies devastated. i guess i'm wrong. >> there was a level of anger o the senate floor that i probabl not seen since 1995. it reflected the tension that senators are feeling as they struggle on both sides of the aisle to pass this bill. senators are concerned about their own health. they don't have agreement yet. they said they continue to negotiate, but he says the lis of outstanding issues has narrowed. keep in mind, that the treasury secretary would not continue to bargain with schumer if there wasn't a deal to be had to. this evening as senior gop so i said as long as the white house keeps the checkbook open, democrats will keep taking things. what we think is going to happe is mitch mcconnell is going to try for a third time, another procedural vote sometime wednesday, but they hope they can get a deal before that. then the question is what happens in the house of representatives. in the past hour the house democrats, as house speaker nancy pelosi has released their own to $.5 trillion bill to address the coronavirus crisis, it is 1,404 pages, war and peac is only 1400 pages. this as a backstop if the house cannot accept what they move through the senate and the senate continues to get bogged down. the hope on capitol hill as the can move something through this and it and get it through the house of representatives. also concerned about bringing all of these house members back devote some are pushing for remote voting. that's probably not going to happen. in the 70s it took three years alone to develop the current electronic voting system that they have in the house of representatives. nancy pelosi ask them to put together a report on remote voting, the pros and cons, it's out there to try to quiet those pushing for remote voting when they probably attempt to move this through the house sometime in the coming days, they will d it with a skeleton crew. >> we will scroll it again, thi is the wish list. nothing to do with coronavirus or are displaced workers and small business, restaurant workers, owners, big businesses the cruise line industry, airline industry. clearly congress has a 22 percent google reading for a reason. tonight americans have lost all trust in the mob, immediate for good reason. and now now some in the dishonest press are more interested in lying about the president and more interested i lying about yours truly. than actually reporting the facts further claiming we calle the coronavirus a hoax, that is a complete and total library they are lying about me. look at your screen, i put the time line up on hannity.com. it shows from day one, this program has taken this virus extremely seriously. we always urge facts without fear, we told people not to panic. six days after the first confirmed american case, i add doctor anthony boucher on this show numerous times thereafter. i interviewed him on january 27 6 days after the first known case even over the band was implemented. february 10th, he's been on this program numerous times and starting in january, i was concerned, asymptomatic people can infect other people, and, yes, that's a bad thing if it's aerosol. with had multiple doctors on this program to discuss the challenges, but i always had faith in our medical community and faith in the american people . than the mob, according to them sean hannity called it a hoax. i said those that said, trump virus, if you're feeling awful, you know who to blame. they said trumps katrina, trump chernobyl. i said they were weapon icing it . they were wanting it to be the next hoax against trump. they distort, like i'm at the same people that have done it for three long years. it is that kind of nasty anti- trump madness and hysteria that is continuing for this day. >> if it were up to me, and it' not, i would stop putting those briefings on live tv. if he keeps lying that he does every day, we should all of us, we should stop broadcasting it. gig i watch donald trump's briefings so you don't have to, and it's hard to escape a simpl and sobering fact about those briefings, almost nothing that trump says in those briefings i true. get this small number of true believer trumper's i suspect they're going to go to a lot of funerals because they are going to be the people that will spread this. >> the entire country is flying blind, playing completely blind. >> they have no idea, they know not what they do. let's compare the kind of coverage to how they treated president obama. we know in 2009 directly after his administration declared a public health obama went golfin a lot. the new york times has public boards and actions were so mean a sense of urgency without setting off a panic. there was no coincidence, his aide say that he played golf today the administration to clear to national emergency. they did it six months after hi health secretary said it was an emergency 11 days into it. it was a pandemic in june, joe and obama declared it a nationa emergency let's see, what day was at? six months later when 1,000 americans were already dead and tens of thousands had contracte it. imagine how the media mob would react to president trump one saturday went golfing? if they did it after declaring an emergency like that? the reaction predictably apoplectic. that same heat media mob, they're passing on chinese propaganda and lies. by the way, somebody might want to ask joe how does erie experience hunter get over $1 billion with the bank of china? how did that deal happen. he didn't have any experience they're at from all i read. the media mob, if you're so willing to spend chinese propaganda of this oppressive chinese dictatorship. china's virus lies are largely escaping scrutiny. here now is the report and then we'll talk to the vice president . sarah carter. >> it is incredible, but while the u.s. media is focused on president trump and targeting president from, they've spent little time questioning china and what has happened since the outbreak of the coronavirus, we have to think about this, news busters has reported and i will look at my notes here we have 634 minutes of coronavirus coverage from january 17 throug 17th through march 13, out of that coverage, the news media, that's the mainstream media onl spent three minutes actually covering china. as been the day talking to u.s. intelligence and western intelligence officials who told me they are scrambling to learn as much as they can about what happened in china. remember, it was shut down by the chinese government only on january 23rd. that was seven weeks after the first onset, the first outbreak that was noticed in china. that's what they have evidence of. during that time, before januar people left wu huan so little, that it is stemming a lot of u.s. intelligence officials. another important point is that the chinese have detained citizen journalists as well as they're own journalists and hav removed journalist from the united states out of the country . even the facts fact that we're getting right now are very remote, very obscure and we can't hold those facts to truth. people are saying take some time , let's look at what's going on here, but hold the media in the united states accountable for what's going on because they're not questioning china and were not getting the truth from china either. >> sarah carter is with us, thank you. joining us live is vice president mike pence. >> i know you're busy, we appreciate you taking the time to be with us. i want you to comment, look what's happening. they want to put more restrictions at this time on th airline industry and they want to help unions and glitzy, what else are you doing here. oh, glitzy, wind and solar tax credits, now it's about the new green deal instead of helping families, american citizens, small business, everybody that struggling, are you kidding me? >> what i can tell you is that it is time for democrats in the senate and the house of representatives to step up, reach an agreement, and pass th care act. the president has made it clear from early on as i made clear t governors today and our latest conference call, we are working with republican and democrat governors across the country. you saw the decisive action the president trump took yesterday with major disaster declaration in new york, california, washington, we are building field hospitals, we're moving out navy hospital ships, i mean we are working seamlessly with governors across the country. up to this point, on the first two bills that the congress passed, we saw a great spirit o partisanship. as the president said tonight, we are still hopeful. may be before the day is out tomorrow, we will see democrats come together as republic with republicans and provide immediate financial assistance the average family of four will receive a payment of four thousand dollars to weather the storm bird there will be payrol support for businesses across america to be able to carry their payroll even while the business has been closed. they will be the kind of resources to support the major industries like airlines, hotels , that have been so deeply impacted through no fault of their own because of the coronavirus and the proper measures that they and every american are taking. it really, this really is a moment where the american people , the american people want to see the congress come together. i spoke to a member of democrat leadership tonight, on my way home, my hope, i think the president hope is that we will work out the final details and get this thing on the floor, we will speed relief to the american people and the bill will stay focused right where i should be and that is on helpin working americans, families, businesses, across this country weather the storm of the coronavirus. >> sean: mister vice president, i'm holding up a letter. i will read from it from a second from a doctor in the new york area and if i may read fro it, he has now worked with his associates and he has a regimen 200 milligrams twice a day five days, 500 milligrams once a day five days. zinc sulfate, this is what he has seen, him and his team have now treated approximately 350 patients in an area of new york hit particularly hard and another 150 patients and other new york areas his results, we have had zero deaths, zero hospitalizations, zero intubation, zero we have of front study, we have news out o china, israel is donating 6 million doses of hydroxy let me ask you, sir, i don't think i've seen anything more hopeful since they started as a treatment and were at the first stage of the vaccine according to the doctor who i admire a lot . you're thoughts? >> what we see in some of those anecdotal studies, we are going to put to the test. the president has been working, we've been working with companies across the country. laura quinn is a legal drug and it the president's discretion, the fda is has completed and is completing what is called off label use approval. so that doctors can prescribe what is an anti- malaria drug t deal with the coronavirus. i have read the same things you've read about combining those with other antibiotics, but we are going to work very hard with the doctor and the team on the ground, and as we make the drugs available for americans and other medications we are going to study it were going to figure it out, but that's not going to get in the way of making it available. based upon on the studies you'r citing and anecdotal evidence, it appears in many cases that i brings real relief, i have to tell you, the president just as a strong feeling about it. you know him well, he is an optimist, and we remain hopeful and the one thing that has been clear to me since the president tapped me to lead the white house task force, is the president of the united states is absolutely committed not jus using the full resource of the federal government, not just bringing together a partnership with state governments, a partnership with the private sector and calling on every american to do their part, but we are literally leaving no stone unturned to address this crisis and bring relief to americans. we sat down two weeks ago with all the top pharmaceutical companies, not just in america, but in the world, and they formed a consortium at the tabl in the cabinet room cabinet roo to begin immediately working on a vaccine that our fda managed to start clinical trials in record time. it's going to be a year and a half before vaccine is available , but the same pharmaceuticals are working on what are called therapeutics, which we may have out by a little bit later this spring that will bring relief to people . you heard doctor deb burks tonight at the briefing talking about a whole range of new therapies and new tests that we just improved including the new nasal swab test that will be soon available across the country. i have to tell you, the energy and the creativity that this president has been demanding from every corner of this country is reflected in our efforts about the chloroquine, it's in our ongoing effort to make sure that we bring the ful weight of america to bear on th coronavirus. >> sean: last question and your staff is going to kill me for keeping you over time. i apologize in advance. last question, you are literally , we're watching the rewriting of history right before our eyes. everything that you in the president are doing here, from the travel ban, ten days after the first known case in america and the quarantine, telemedicin i believe will be the future fo sure. public-private partnerships. drive up testing. will have at home testing soon. getting rid of these fda regulations which otherwise would have taken two years to get done. what were the democrats doing? they were in an impeachment trial and joe biden was saying donald trump is dena phobic, hysterical, and if a fear mongering. >> they're is no question that if president trump had not suspended all travel from china before the month of january was outcome, but we would be in a very different place than we ar today. if he hadn't issued travel advisories and begun to screen every passenger from every airport into the united states from italy and south korea, the same is true. suspending travel from europe, the uk, ireland, our health experts have told me again and again at our task force meetings , that it's been the president's willingness to take those decisive actions that has given us time to stand up this whole of government approach, i full partnership with all the states across this country. to your point, in full partnership with the private sector. i mean that public-private partnership, one week ago, the total number of test that had been reported back to the cdc was 53,000. seven days later, we are at 313,000 tests that have been done, completed, and the number actually much larger than that because that doesn't include more than 15,000 hospitals and labs. that's all a result of that public and private partnership. can i just brag on american business for just a minute? the president, he invoked the defense protection act, which gives the president the authority. to mandate production, during times of national crisis and th defense of the nation. in fact, today when the president signed the executive order regarding giving the justice department authority to thoroughly prosecute people engaged in price gouging and hoarding, that came from the defense production act. we been asked several times about whether the president wil invoke this, will he mandate businesses, but the truth is, and this makes me smile and makes me proud as an american, every business we have asked to step up and do their part has said yes. no one has said no yet. i mean we have seen again 3m today, delivered 500,000 respirator masks to new york an seattle to facebook just donate from their reserve more than three quarters of a million masks to healthcare workers and anheuser-busch is switching som of their manufacturing and distributing networks to produc large amounts of hand sanitizer. americans are rising to the challenge, they are embracing the 15 days to slow the spread, they know that it's about protecting the most vulnerable among us, but american business is also rising to the challenge. i could just tell all of your listeners all across america, w can do this. it is going to take all of us a the president has said many times, we are all in this together, but i'm absolutely convinced with the cooperation of the american people, with th compassion and care of our healthcare workers, with the full engagement of american fre enterprise, the partnership wit our states, all of our great federal leaders and the prayers of millions of americans, we ca slow the spread, we can protect our most vulnerable, and we can heal our land. >> that is our prayer, thank yo for all you're doing. think the president, we appreciate it, and i'm sorry we went over time. what is going on with the house and the senate. i will start with you, lindsay because you're in the bigger house, the more prestigious one. let me scroll, nancy pelosi, what they're trying to stick in these bills when we should be helping workers, business error and small or big bear. >> they're holding the bill hostage for a liberal agenda that will not sit at the ballot box. they're playing with political fire, democratic senators are not going to play this game muc longer. this is driven by nancy pelosi. we had to deal basically done until nancy pelosi came back from california and they are telling every nurse and doctor in the country your healthcare supply needs give way to mandatory same-day voting. they're telling everybody who's been laid off and drawing unemployment you can't get $600 more in unemployment because we want to be carbon neutral. the airlines by 2025. you talking about people having priorities wrong. they can't play this game any longer. >> we wrecked that and run that again. kevin mccarthy, i mean you're in the minority in the house, you can't really stop it, you want to get the aid to workers they need it desperately. this isn't a game. >> this is not a game, could yo imagine harry reid letting nanc pelosi run the senate? i flew back on a redeye to have that might meeting on sunday. we were at an agreement where republicans and democrats in th senate had worked together in committee to come up and move forward. nancy pelosi walks into the roo and you see chuck schumer actually kinda fall behind the table. then she starts asking, she wants to change the election la just like she did in california. they want to harvest ballots they want to care about the ope border, about more money for sanctuary cities. this does nothing for those who got laid off today. think about the kitchen table o those small businesses where they put there entire life and in there watching the democrats do this to them. in my entire life, i have never seen such selfishness in these individuals. they would rather put a liberal wish list instead of the well-being of this country. >> first, i've got to tell you, it takes my breath away. we rebuild europe, we defeat evil across the globe. don't let lindsay forget, he wa once in your house. >> fond memories. >> there's never been a country in the history of man that has accumulated more power and abused it less and used it to advance the human condition mor than this one. are we on the verge of saving the world again? >> it's not our option, this is worse than 9/11 for the country and our democratic colleagues are acting like it's just business as usual. cram as much into a bill as you can. >> people are going to say lindsay graham said it's worse than 9/11. >> both of them were horrific. >> let me just speak for wendy graham, i think in many ways this is worse than 9/11. we're talking about having the entire economy shut down for a very long time. we're talking about people completely out of business with no paychecks coming. we turned around after 9/11 really quickly and built the economy, put in place things to keep it safe. 6,000 soldiers went off to die. we all came together. time just so disappointed like kevin said, i cannot believe that we are letting this happen to the american people because the mob is in control of the house. the president has done a terrific job. if we can pass this bill, it would give us time to be more aggressive against the virus. >> thank you both for being wit us. we appreciate your hard work. please get this money to our fellow americans that need it. when we come back, our experts about the new hope tonight's. an anti- malaria drug showing huge promise for those infected with covid-19. (music) we are t-mobile the first to go unlimited. first with no annual service contracts. first with taxes and fees included. now t-mobile has the first and only nationwide 5g network. reaching over 5,000 cities and towns and over 200 million americans. and t-mobile is not charging extra for 5g access. because this isn't our network... it's yours. >> sean: the trump administration continues to tak bold measures to contain the spread of corona. some doctors are turning to antimalarial drugs as a treatment for that. baylor college medical professo doctor peter hotels is with us and also, a brain surgeon in real life, i mean a real brain surgeon, doctor peter constantino is with us great let's talk about hydroxy with zithromax i erred read earlier this study, upstate new york, your thoughts, is this potentially what we are thinkin tonight it could be? >> i am very optimistic about this. this is not a controlled study. the number of patients that are represented is significant of the 350 patients that they treated, they would've expected at least 15-30 may be 40 hospitalizations and potentiall even two or three deaths. they had zero hospitalizations and zero into butyrate intubation to which is putting as the breathing tube into help some, but he breeds great it's not a controlled study, but it looks like more than just coincidence. >> what is your take on this? >> my take is i am alive with the vice president. chloroform has a lot going for it. it killed the virus in the test tube it suppresses information. they're is a reason people get sick and die from this virus an we have some clinical studies conducted in france and china. the reason why both the vice president and i are not popping the champagne cork is because we've both been down this path before with influenza. hydroxy chloroquine showed some promise. in the test tube, it didn't quite pan out. we have every reason to be optimistic. it is just one of several new therapies that are readily bein accelerated into the clinic i told you last week that you're about to see the full power of american science brought to bea on this problem and here is an example of it. we have other things coming dow the pike as well. we have a new antibody therapy which i think will be announced later this week possibly by the fda, which i even have higher expectations for than even hydroxy clore because it worked with the virus back in 2003. you will see a number of new therapies moving forward, some of those repurposed old drugs applying to this problem, other brand-new drugs and then the vaccine down the line. it's going to be a continuing story of new exciting therapies. >> sean: do you agree with the other possibilities tonight as well? they're is hope for the country. >> they're is, we will find something or some combination o things that makes the differenc and turns the tide and this wil be more self-limited than the dire warnings we have been preparing for. at think it's important to realize that with the hydroxychloroquine this is chea drug. its $12 at dosage cycle, so compared to some of these more exotic drugs, compared to the things that are not quite as available across the world,. >> i have to roll. >> think there's a lot of promise. >> from your lips to god's ears. thank you both for what you do every day. joe biden comes out of hiding again today another unmitigated disaster. that is ahead. 75% persistent cardiovascular risk still remains. many have turned to fish oil supplements. others, fenofibrates or niacin. but here's a number you should take to heart: zero-the number of fda approvals these products have, when added to statins, to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. ask your doctor about an advancement in prescription therapies with proven protection. visit truetoyourheart.com at tecovas, that's handcrafted high-quality western boots focus on what they do best. at a fair price. because netsuite shows me all my financials in one place, we stay focused on what we do best.
