Roseville murder case court hearing postponed after defendant beaten in jail
Despite his attorney's claim, murder defendant Stephen Freeman told sheriff's officials he was not beaten, said Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham, who said jail officials believe Freeman was beaten by two inmates in his cell.
