Johan Kristoffersson maintained his unbeaten start to the 2022 FIA World Rallycross Championship season on the second day of action at Ferratum World RX of Rīga-Latvia today (4 September), conquering changeable conditions to emerge on top once again.

Oliver Solberg set the pace on day one of the ‘Magic Weekend’ in Sweden, as round two of the 2022 FIA European Rallycross Championship got underway at Höljes.After torrential early morning rain, 20-year-old Solberg was on sensational form in a wet and slippery heat one to set the pace by almost a second in the high-calibre, 25-strong Euro RX1 field – despite having only previously driven his Hedströms Motorsport Hyundai i20 in dry conditions.

Anton Marklund won the opening round of the 2022 FIA European Rallycross Championship after a fast and faultless performance in the Euro RX1 curtain-raiser at Nyirád in Hungary, while Kobe Pauwels won an exciting Euro RX3 final in front of a capacity crowd.

The entry lists have today been released for the opening round of the 2022 FIA European Rallycross Championship at Nyirád in Hungary next month (21-22 May) – featuring a star-studded line-up of title-winners and home heroes.
