Circuit Court postpones Thursday docket

The criminal docket set for Thursday at the Columbia County Justice and Detention Facility has been postponed. An announcement from the court said that the postponement has been prompted by COVID-19 exposure among court personnel. The cases on the December docket will be moved to either the January 7 or January 21 docket days. Here are the cases that were posted for the now-postponed docket before Circuit Judge David Talley: 9 a.m. Demetria Annette Doss, robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing in a vehicle causing danger, theft of property under $1,000, failure to pay registration, unlawful use of license, fleeing (on foot), absconding.

Circuit Court releases Thursday criminal docket

(UPDATE) The following docket has been postponed due to COVID-19. These cases will be set for a later date. A preliminary docket for Columbia County Circuit Court Criminal Division has been released by the office of Circuit Judge David W. Talley Jr. These defendants may or may not be required to appear in court at this time, due to various circumstances. Court will be held Thursday, December 17, in the courtroom at the Columbia County Criminal Detention Facility in Magnolia. Defendants are to check-in with the bailiff at the beginning of their scheduled time slot. They will remain outside of the building until called in by the bailiff.
