The Benue State Police Command has uncovered shallow mass graves in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of the state.
The graves were discovered after the police operatives arrested two notorious suspects, Aondoaseer Terseer (alias Bob Tsetse) and Orkashima David (alias Cash money), who led them to the graves where they buried their victims, including their wives.
The suspects were arrested in Osun State after they both fled following the killings, kidnapping and armed robbery activities carried out in Mbamon, Tavachan, Michiche council ward of Katsina-Ala LGA of Benue State in less than three years.
The two suspects, both members of a 10-man criminal syndicate, took the policemen around the shallow graves, including dry and abandoned wells, where they kept their dead victims to conceal their heinous acts.

The police in Benue State have uncovered mass graves in the Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of the state.
The discovery was made possible by two of the eight gang members arrested in Osun State last week for kidnapping.
Recall that the Osun State Police Command had last Saturday announced the arrest of eight members of a gang, who are from Benue State, in the Omo Ijesa area of the state.
The spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola, had explained in a statement on Saturday that the eight-member kidnap gand abducted one Mrs Catherine Akiishi and relocated to the state to negotiate the ransom for her and added that the suspects would be handed over to the Benue State Police Command.

Two of the eight suspected kidnappers of Benue State origin arrested in Osun State last Friday for kidnapping have led police in Benue State to shallow graves where six dead bodies were buried.
The remains discovered in graves were that of three males and three females including the kidnapped victim, Catherine Akishi. Others are the suspects’ wives and three other kidnapping victims.
The suspects who led a team of police to the site in Katsina-Ala local government area of the state are 23-year-old Aondoaseer Terseer (Bob Tsetse) and Orkashima David (Cash money).
