Navajo Nation officials ordered evacuations Sunday for some residents after floodwaters filled washes and overflowed berms and dirt dams.

Volunteers are working to fill sandbags and keep back the rising floodwaters.

According to community members directly impacted, a berm broke around 4 p.m. on Friday.
