Woodford County reported one death, a male in his 80s.
Overall, 319 new cases of COVID-19 were announced Friday across the tri-county.
164 of those were in Peoria, 124 in Tazewell and 31 new cases came up in Woodford.
On a good note, there were 22 fewer people in area hospitals with the virus Friday compared to the day prior.
One additional person is in the ICU for COVID-19, but there was a 23 patient decrease for COVID-19 in non-ICU beds.
PEORIA Eleven people within the Peoria area, including nine Peoria County residents, died over the weekend as the COVID-19 pandemic continues its brutal pace this month.
Of the nine Peoria County residents, only two lived at long-term care facilities. One was a woman in her 80s who lived at Cornerstone. The other was a man in his 90s who lived at Lutheran Hillside Village.
The others were two men in their 70s, two in their 80s and two women in their 80s. There was one death for which public health officials said they yet had no information regarding the person s age, gender or residency.

That brings to 337 the number of fatalities in the pandemic.
They include two Peoria County men in their 70s, one a resident of Sharon Elms and the other a resident of University Rehab. The county altogether has had 160 deaths.
Four people living in Tazewell County died after contracting the virus two women in their 80s, one of whom didn t live in a long-term care facility another who lived in Aperion Morton Villa.
That site, which is currently in the midst of an outbreak meaning there have been active cases there in the past month was also the home of a woman in her 100s who died of the virus.
