‘Voluntary organisation Apex plays vital role during pandemic’

International voluntary organisation Apex Bangladesh and Apex Bangladesh Foundation (ABF) have played vital role during coronavirus pandemic across the world by standing beside general people. The organisation have already been acclaimed by the policymakers of the country for its philanthropic role.
Chairman and life governor SM Rakibul Hasan of the foundation came up with the statement while speaking as the chief guest at the power installation programme of new custodian committee in Banani, Dhaka on Tuesday.
He said, “Apex Bangladesh and Apex Bangladesh Foundation are working intensively for the welfare of the poor and the destitute people of the country.”

Family members of a man who was killed over land dispute in Mymensingh on December 25 alleged that they were being threatened by the accused.
The victim, Mozammel Hossain Babul, 50, had been running a small grocery shop at his home in Kalyanpur village of Mymensingh Sadar since 2007.
No accused has been arrested yet in this connection.
Talking to this correspondent, Babul s wife Sheuly Akter, 45, who works as a domestic help in the capital, said her husband used to pull rickshaw in Dhaka. In 1995, he had an accident and was admitted to the Pangu Hospital, where his right leg had to be amputated.
