Love Beignets, But Hate Wearing the Mess? You Need this Shirt!
I fell in love with Beignets the last time we stayed at the Walt Disney World Port Orleans resort. It has a New Orleans vibe and one of the restaurants offered the Mickey Beignets. This simple fried pastry is covered in delicious powdered sugar. Walking around covered in powdered sugar isn t very cute. But, I found a solution for this first world problem.
Popeyes recently opened a restaurant on my side of town, in front of Meijer, so I was scrolling through their menu. I ve never eaten at a Popeyes.Shocking right? So, I had no idea that they have Beignets. I ve waited in line for at least 45 minutes to get my fix from Two Farmers Burgers and Beignets. Now that I know I can just order online & have them delivered is dangerous information.
Two of my favorite things have come together! My love of Slayer, and my love of helping animals!
As you may have gathered from me, I m kind of a bleeding heart when it comes to animals. Especially rescue animals. I have two dogs, they re both rescues, and kind of the coolest. So having them has really made me want to pour my heart into helping rescue animals like them!
So when I saw this shirt I couldn t help myself! You see I LOVE Slayer, and I LOVE Pit Bulls, both of my dogs are rescued pit bulls, so when I this shirt popped up on my social media, you betcha I hit BUY quicker than I ve ever purchased something online before!
USS Abraham Lincoln Names First Female Commanding Officer
President Abraham Lincoln s name is synonymous with the Tri-State. As you know, he was born in Hodgenville, Kentucky, he served as a congressman from Illinois and he lived there as an adult (The Land of Lincoln) and when he was seven, his family moved to Little Pigeon Creek in Southern Indiana in what would later become Spencer County.
The Lincoln name is about to experience another historic distinction. The USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) has named its first female commanding officer to lead the crew of one of the Navy s 11 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. Captain Amy Bauernschmidt will assume command of the ship this summer, upon completion of the nuclear power, aviation, and leadership training required of aircraft carrier COs.
