The Oscar-winning filmmaker Sam Mendes was given full rights to the band’s music and their life stories for the unusual quartet of films, planned for 2027.

The British director is to make four separate films about The Beatles - one from each band member's perspective.

The ambitious project will debut in theaters starting in 2027.

The fab four are back, with each member of the iconic Beatles to be immortalized in their own big screen biopic, all directed by Sam Mendes, Sony Pictures said on Tuesday.
