T-Mobile is informing millions of its customers that hackers were able to access some of their account details through a recent data breach.

T-Mobile has once again been hit by a massive data breach, this time impacting some 37 million customers' data.

T-Mobile admits to another security breach to user accounts, and some information were taken. T-Mobile suffers from another security breach on its infrastructure, claiming that a "bad actor" have managed to access its database and obtained "limited information" from the public.

T-Mobile is contacting customers whose data was stolen, but no password or payment information was accessed during the breach, the carrier says.

Customer data such as customer name, billing address, email, phone number, date of birth, T-Mobile account number and information such as the number of lines on the account and plan features were exposed in the breach.

T-Mobile said "basic" customer data was taken, but payment details remain secure.
