Middle Tennessee State University officials broke ground last Tuesday on a 54,000-square-foot, $40.1 million School of Concrete and Construction Management building. The facility is expected to be completed in 15 months in time for Fall 2022 classes. Students studying concrete and construction management at Middle Tennessee State University will do so in a $40.1 million building by fall 2022. "Im excited for the program," said Leigha Lafferty, a senior from Shelbyville who expects to graduate in December before the building is ready. "Its a good program to be a part of. Its like a family.
