About the actions of a patrolman, which again, the Justice System will hopefully do justice. We need to look the much larger picture, and again, a much larger picture undoubtedly is going to be a trail back to ourselves. Host washington, d. C. , democratic calle. Caller good morning. I agree with most of what youre guest said. The Police Officer in ferguson overreacted. Once you saw Michael Browns hands in the air, he shouldve stopped shooting. By understand once you start shooting your gun you can stop. But once his hands were exposed he was no longer a threat. Respectfully not get into that issue. A few words about the genesis of this panel, the idea behind it and some of the issues i hope we are going to be able to address. So this year, 2015, marks the 40th anniversary of one of the most important congressional committees certainly of the 1970s. And i think arguably of the latter half of the 20th century and that was the Church Committee. The Church Committee which was chaired by frank church began its work in the spring of 1975. And that accident out there on the shoulder is causing some good sized delays through the livermore valley. It appears to be on the right hand shoulder. All lanes are open. It is causing some heavier traffic than normal out of the Altamont Pass. Looking at the drive time it still says about 19 minutes but i wouldnt be surprised if it was a few minutes more than that. So again the delays begin around the 205580 split and continue past the north greenville exit and clears out approaching vasco to the dublin interchange.
