A second information session for local businesses wanting to supply goods and services to Logan City Council will be held after a sell-out event earlier this year.
Council spends around $500 million annually on goods and services, which is a significant contribution to the city’s $13.32 billion economy.
Procurement and Appropriations Special Committee Chair, Councillor Jacob Heremaia, said Council was committed to increasing its local spending.
“When we spend money locally, we stimulate the economy and encourage businesses to grow and employ City of Logan residents,” Cr Heremaia said.
