For area restaurants, Mother's Day looks somewhat busy

Rachel Lee, of Uncasville, is happy to be dining out again, especially since her son Paul Lewis, of Oakdale, is planning on taking her out to dinner for Mother s Day.   It s great that we are able to go out again and I can hug my son, Lee said.  With Mother’s Day coming Sunday, and the end of many of Connecticut s remaining COVID-19 business restrictions May 19th, local restaurants are expecting moderate to busy turnouts. Olde Tymes Restaurant owner Rodney Green isn’t expecting a huge difference in the number of guests that come to his restaurant compared to any given Sunday, except that the line out the door might be a bit larger.
