FREEPORT Students and staff at Aquin Junior/Senior High School are going to have to share their space next year, and they are excited about doing it.
School administrators plan to move Aquin Elementary and kindergarten students from the St. Joseph campus at 202 W. Pleasant St. to the high school campus a few blocks away at 1419 S. Galena Ave. I am happy to announce another step in strengthening Catholic education in and around the Freeport area, said Aquin Superintendent Elizabeth Heitkamp. We are very excited to bring a one-faith, one-campus concept to Aquin Schools beginning with the 2021-22 school year.
