The North Dakota State University, University of Minnesota, and St. John's University football teams kept the momentum going, notching wins in the second week of the season. The Minnesota Twins, however, are trending in the opposite direction with their second straight loss to the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday. On Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings will kick off the season at U.S. Bank Stadium when they host the Green Bay Packers.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis joined me on WJON for a radio town hall. He discussed work road, the sale of the media center near the new city hall, and the budget for 2023. Kleis says the city did a record amount of road resurfacing and construction projects in 2022 and still have many more planned in 2023.
