The Lagos State Police Command on Thursday said it stumbled on a drug den during its operation in the Ile-Epo market in the Oke-Odo area of Lagos State following clashes between youths and hoodlums.

The police said that at least 50 suspects have been arrested.

The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State command has said it has arrested over 50 suspects in connection to a clash between hoodlums at Ile-Epo foodstuff market in the Alimosho Local Government Area of the state.   A section of the Ilepo Market at Oke Odo was earlier set on fire as hoodlums allegedly clashed with traders in the market over bet money.   It was learnt that the crisis started Wednesday evening and escalated on Thursday.
