Justice and Empowerment Initiatives - Nigeria (JE) has petitioned the Nigeria Police Force, asking it to probe the alleged abduction of victims of Oworonshoki demolition by the traditional ruler of the community in the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, Oba Babatunde Saliu. In a petition addressed to the office of Area Commander, Area H Police Command, Ogudu, Lagos, dated September 20, 2023, the group alleged that four residents of Oworonshoki were abducted and detained, allegedly on the orders of the monarch.
